Presentation Visual Aids

Illustrated visual aids for your presentation slides to help guide the conversation in a fun and innovative way

What does that look like?

I’ll ask some questions on what you’re looking for, the info you need, and then I’d go away and create them.

I can create individual illustrated infographics or visual aids that you can add to your slides to make them more engaging. You can use these just for your slides or you can use them anywhere else you’d like!

Alternatively, you could leave the whole deck to me, and I can design the entire presentation for you; that would be one thing off your plate! I would focus on visual, graphic and illustrated ways of getting the information across, so no one is trying to read the slides while trying to listen to you while also trying to take notes (see Session Snapshots page for help here too).

How is this different to the Session Snapshot?

The Session Snapshot is a printed visual aid for each attendee to use, take notes on, and take home with them. It summarises the info of the session in a digestible way, so people can follow along without having to take loads of notes on the main takeaways, they can just add person-specific notes on top which allows for more engagement during the session.

The Presentation Visual Aids, you guessed it, are more for the slides themselves if you have a PowerPoint or Google Slide that you’ll be supplementing your session with. This helps you to take things off your plate, so I can design it and send it back to you all shiny, new, and ready to go, and it helps the attendees so all the information is easy to digest, short, sweet and to the point - because no one pays attention to wordy and boring slides.

Why do you need this?

Presentation slides, PowerPoint, Google Slides, etc. - They have been around forever. They are super useful tools but when used incorrectly, they are invisible.

Like I said no one pays attention to wordy and boring slides, and they shouldn’t be helping you with your script for the session - at the very most they should be a visual cue for you to know where you are.

Slides with essays or clunky designs don’t help you put your point across, but used right, slides with engaging visuals, minimal text, and unique illustrations made just for you, they absolutely can.
